Steve is a fine art photographer and visual artist based in Los Angeles, California. His original professional training is law, having lived and worked in multiple cities and internationally including Los Angeles, Washington D.C. and Chicago, Seoul (South Korea) and Hong Kong.

“For me photography is a means to understanding and conceptualizing personal memory, history and identity rooted in lived experienced; photography is an embodied practice for engaging with the experience of living in the modern context of the urban city. Having spent much of my early and formative years in greater Los Angeles, my photography is informed emotionally, psychologically, religously and culturally in relation to the communities, rituals and the natural environs of the city.  I believe life is experienced as embodiment formed by one’s social context(s).”
